NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) has replaced AIPMT and has been made mandatory for aspirants seeking to get admission in all-India medical/dental institutes. NEET-UG 2017 exam will be held on May 7, 2017(Sunday). Medical & dental aspirants are advised to keep a regular check on the website i.e cbseneet.nic.in .
NEET UG – National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for Undergraduate course/program will be conducted by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) for candidates aiming to get admission into MBBS/BDS courses. The exam will be held in 8 languages namely (Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu and Tamil, English, Hindi).
NEET PG- National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for Postgraduate program/course will be conducted by NBE (National Board of Examinations) for candidates looking to get admission intoMS/MD/PG Diploma Courses.
Eligibility criteria

He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on orbefore 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL.

The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under 15% All India Quota Seats is 25 yearsas on 31 st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes. Candidate must born on or between.

A candidate who is appearing in the qualifying examination, i.e., 12th Standard in 2017 whose result is awaited, may apply and take up the said test but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the MBBS or BDS, if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks at the time of first round of Counselling.
*(Candidates qualifying for NEET will be eligible to an all-India quota and other quotas under the state governments/ institutes, irrespective of the medium in which the exam is taken by the candidate.)
How to apply
Aspirants who are interested in applying to medical colleges – both state and private medical colleges are required to fill the NEET Application Form 2017. The application form for NEET UG 2017 exam would be online and might require an Aadhaar Card number.

Download the Information Bulletin. Read the Instructions carefully to understand the desired eligibility criteria and other requirements for submission of application online.

Go to the link “Apply On-line” and open the same.

Fill in the online Application Form.

Fill up the details as per the field specified in the form, note down the registration number.

Upload scanned images of photograph, signature and Right Hand Index Finger hand thumb impression in JPEG format.

After completing the application form with requisite details proceed for payment ( fee through Debit/Credit Card/ e-Challan/Net Banking/e-wallet (CSC).

Take print out of the application format for future reference along with copy of proof of fee deposited

Aspirants who wish to pursue MBBS/BDS courses in Medical/Dental colleges can will be able to download the admit cards from the Official website of NEET-UG 2017 i.e cbseneet.nic.in . Candidates are advised to preserve their Admit Cards in good condition till admission in Medical/ Dental Colleges is over.
